SUMMER Heights High star Chris Lilley appeared a bit embarrassed by his popularity at the Logies afterparty, which stretched well into the early hours of yesterday morning at Melbourne's Crown Casino. Lilley, who won the Silver Logie for most popular actor and also picked up the peer-voted gong for most outstanding comedy program, was overwhelmed at the post-awards bash by soapie stars, seasoned actors and guests wanting to have their photo taken with him. The 33-year-old tried to be inconspicuous but hordes of admirers surrounded him all night. The humble comedian was not so fussed about his Logie statuettes. Morning TV queen Kerri-Anne Kennerley spotted a young girl clutching a silver Logie in the hotel lobby yesterday morning and interviewed her live on her show. The child identified herself as Lilley's niece and calmly explained that uncle Chris had given her the trophy on Sunday night.
